Do you enjoy the warmth of the sun while driving? Or perhaps your indulgence is to luxuriate in the feel of super-comfortable leather seats, or to relax with the added safety of side airbags.Whichever of these options is your ideal, Escape Limited takes them off the option list and includes them as standard on an all-new model that builds on the unmatched package of performance, quality, safety and style that is already synonymous with Escape.
Escape Limited comes complete with all features currently available on the XLT Escape but also adds medium parchment leather trim, including a leather wrapped steering wheel, which provides added comfort and prestige to the interior of the vehicle.
A factory fitted solar tinted sunroof adds style and allows for improved cabin comfort. The sunroof includes a tilt and slide function as well as a sunshade blind. Sunroof controls and a sunglass holder are located in an overhead console at the front of the vehicle.
Safety technology is also increased on the Escape Limited with dual side airbags mounted on the seat frames to help protect occupants in the event of a side impact. These airbags operate independently of the front airbags.
"The introduction of Escape Limited provides our customers with even greater choice across the Escape range," says General Manager Marketing, Shaun Swift.
"Customers can now choose from the Escape XLS ? with power windows, remote central locking, dual airbags, air-conditioning, on-demand 4WD and a single CD player; the Escape XLT which adds additional features such as ABS, a 6-stack CD player, cruise control, front fog lights, anti-theft alarm, and 16" alloy wheels; and now the even better-equipped Escape Limited."
Escape Limited will be available in Midnight Black, Polar White, Crimson Glow, Atlantic Blue, Cyprus Green, and Platinum.
The new vehicle is now on sale at Ford dealerships with a RRP of $42,890.
