V8 Supercar driver James Courtney has survived another week on Channel 7’s Dancing with the Stars thanks to the voting public.

Public Vote Keeps Courtney in Dancing With The Stars

Courtney and his dance partner Olya Bourtasova performed the Rumba on last night’s show, but were heavily criticized by the judges, who believe that the JELD-WEN Motorsport driver is not living up to his potential.

Despite receiving a score of 18, their lowest ever and the second lowest score of the night, the public vote carried the Gold Coast pair through to the final six.

Jessica Rowe and her partner Serghei Bolgarschii were eliminated from the series.

With the competition becoming tougher every week, Courtney is thankful to the motor sport and V8 Supercar fans that are keeping him in the race.

Make sure you keep voting for James and Olya before 7:30pm next Tuesday (30 October)

To see highlights of James and Olya’s performance, visit the Dancing with the Stars website.

To vote, SMS “James” to 19 19 77 or call 1902 55 77 11 for James.

m.Net Corporation 55c max. Mobile calls to 1902 extra. Closes Tuesday’s at 7.30pm (AEST). T&C from Seven.
