Manual XR8 Falcons will become available during January with a RRP of $50,130. Automatic variants will follow in Q2 with an RRP of $51,050.Ford Australia Vice President of Marketing & Sales, Mr Bruce McDonald says that the demand from customers for the new BA XR8 Falcon has been high.
"Our dealers have been taking orders for the new XR8 since we launched the rest of the BA range late last year. The XR8 program was always going to follow behind the rest of the range due to the development work required on the all-new Boss 260 engine, but the lack of a vehicle to test drive didn't deter customers from placing their orders.
"They're going to be blown away when they actually get to drive their new cars," he said.
The manual XR8 Falcon will become available progressively during January as the company meets customer orders.
The automatic variant will be launched in Q2 when incremental development work to match the transmission to the new Boss 260 engine has been completed.
