FG Falcon � specification and pricing update
Ford Australia has announced that from September production, the FG Falcon XT will be fitted with 16-inch alloy wheels as standard equipment.
The new 16-inch alloy wheels replace the 16-inch steel wheels with full wheel covers fitted to the FG Falcon XT previously.
Introduced for the launch of FG Falcon, the new design five-spoke alloy wheels were previously available as an option on Falcon XT for the recommended retail price of $500.
In line with the introduction of alloy wheels, the recommended retail price of Falcon XT has increased by $300 to $36,790, effective from September 1, 2008.
FG Falcon � option availability update
The current FG Falcon brochure (published April 2008) lists the reverse camera and premium audio system options as being available on G6 from the fourth quarter in 2008.
Engineering development on these features has been completed ahead of schedule so both options are available immediately.
The option price for the reverse camera on G6 remains consistent with other models in the FG Falcon range, with a recommended retail price of $500.
The premium audio system option price on G6 is also as per other models in the FG Falcon range, with a recommended retail price of $1,100.�
The premium audio system has a 262-watt total power output and consists of:
- AM/FM radio
- Six-disc, in-dash CD/MP3 player
- Eight speakers
- 150-watt amplifier and sub-woofer
- Seven-inch colour TFT display screen for the Interior Command Centre (ICC)
- Graphic equaliser
FG Falcon Ute � specification and pricing update
As communicated previously, Dynamic Stability Control will be fitted as standard equipment on all petrol FG Falcon Ute XR models, effective from September 1.
Recommended retail pricing for the FG Falcon XR range � XR6 Cab Chassis and Styleside Box, XR6 Turbo Styleside Box and XR8 Styleside Box models � has increased by $500 in conjunction with the introduction of DSC.
New pricing* for FG Falcon Ute XR models is as follows:

FG Falcon & SY Territory � specification update
Ford Australia has introduced a new exterior paint colour on selected, premium models across the FG Falcon, SY Territory and FPV vehicle lines.
Available now, 'Velvet' is a dark chocolate cherry prestige paint colour with an intense red/copper metallic highlight, which is exclusive to sports/luxury models across the locally-produced Ford and FPV model line-ups.
Velvet is available on G6, G6E and G6E Turbo, Territory Ghia, Territory Turbo and Territory Ghia Turbo, and FPV GTE models.� It will also be available on Territory TS, however, optional full body colour bumpers and door cladding must also be specified.
Seduce is now also available on Territory TS when the optional full body colour bumpers and door cladding are specified.
