Amongst the drivers to appear on the day will be:
All teams will bring racecars as well as transporters to the day. It will be the first public look at the Ford Racing V8 Superscars of 2002.
The drivers will be available for signatures from 11am ? 1pm on the day, with cars and equipment displayed throughout the day.
The annual Tickford Open Day sees the engineering specialists open their doors to the public. Enthusiasts get a first hand look at the factory as well as a display of vehicles from Ford and Tickford car clubs from across Australia.
Run on the Sunday preceding the Australian Formula One Grand Prix, the Tickford Open Day in the past has attracted over 5,000 people. This number is expected to double with the addition of the eight V8 Supercars drivers.
Car Club members are expected to travel from as far as Perth and north Queensland for the Tickford Open Day. There are also Ford factory tours at Broadmeadows and Geelong organised during the Grand Prix week.
All members of the public are welcome to the Tickford Open Day, with entry being a gold coin donation to the Guide Dogs Association.
