All Ford V8 Supercars will carry special pink Ford windscreen banners to draw attention to the fight against Breast Cancer.
Ford Racing has developed a relationship with the National Breast Cancer Foundation that has raised a total of $37,000 year to date.
$2000 was raised at this morning?s Ford V8 Supercar Breakfast at Sea World, where 400 guests enjoyed a great rev-up to this weekend?s racing activities.
Ford Racing legend Dick Johnson will briefly come out of retirement to drive his team?s #17 Falcon V8 Supercar on the Surfers Paradise street circuit as part the fundraising efforts.
$5000 was raised through an online auction for the lap with the Ford Racing legend.
The Ford Racing program is aiming to raise $50,000 towards the fight against Breast Cancer over the final three rounds of this year?s V8 Supercar Championship Series.
