Ford Releases New PH Courier Range

?The PH Courier range adds to the comprehensive list of improvements made to the previous model, with a multitude of new interior features and further refinements to exterior styling,? Ford Australia 4WD and Commercial Vehicle Marketing Manager, Christine Wagner said.

?With 23 Courier variants available across six body styles, three powertrain configurations and three specification levels, there continues to be a Courier model for every application in the new PH range.?

Inside PH Courier, a host of customer-friendly features have been added along with two new interior trims.

An all-new two-speaker, single slot CD player with AM/FM radio is now standard on all Courier GL and XL models, while the range-topping XLT models pick up the new audio system interface to go with the existing four-speaker six-disc CD player.

Courier XL and XLT models receive a new double lid centre console with integrated arm-rest as part of the PH upgrade, while XL and XLT Pick-Up models gain a remote fuel-lid opener.

With the addition of the new centre console, PH series Crew Cabs will also feature a triple cup holder for second row passengers.

Seat back pockets are another new interior appointment on XLT models, with Super Cab variants featuring a pocket on the driver's seat and the Crew Cab line-up gaining pockets on both front seats.

Revised colours and graphics on the instrument panel combine with new seat and door trims to refresh the interior. A new cloth seat and door trim is available on Courier GL and XL models, while a new sports weave trim is unique to the high-series XLT models.

Other improvements inside PH Courier include the driver's sunvisor ticket holder as standard fitment across the entire model range, a new, silver-coloured surround for the power window switches on XLT models and a new steering wheel design for all airbag-equipped vehicles, featuring a Ford ?Blue Oval? in the centre of the steering pad.

For the exterior, detail changes have been made to Courier?s ?tough truck? styling, with a new design for the rear combination lamps, new side indicators with clear lenses, new decals and upgraded wheels on all XLT models.

Courier 4x2 XLT models are now fitted with a 15-inch alloy wheel and 205/70 R15 tyres, while Courier 4x4 XLT models are equipped with a new design 15-inch alloy wheel featuring a bold six-spoke pattern.

Fender flares on XLT models with the two-tone paint treatment are now Titanium Grey in colour, replacing the Silver Metallic finish on the previous model. Single tone paint colours continue with Dark Argent fender flares.

New exterior paint colours for PH Courier are:

• Titanium Grey ? available across the range
• Black Mica ? available across the range
• Medium Blue ? available across the range
• Black Mica / Titanium Grey ? Two-tone paint on XLT models only
• Dusk Green / Titanium Grey ? Two-tone paint on XLT models only
• Silver Metallic / Titanium Grey ? Two-tone paint on XLT models only

Existing paint colours that remain available across the PH range include Red, Cool White, Silver Metallic and Dusk Green.
