The big winner was Ford Racing's chosen charity, the National Breast Cancer Foundation, who received $10,000 from the victory of V8 Supercar stars Craig Lowndes (Team Betta Electrical) and Jason Bright (CAT Ford Performance Racing), Pirtek Rally Team's Michael Guest and Formula Ford young gun Samantha Reid.
The Ford Family beat Holden's Greg Murphy, Cameron McConville as well as Garth and Leanne Tander.
In a classic Family Feud match-up, Ford won the opening two rounds before Holden took the double-points in round #3. It came down to the sudden-death round where Samantha Reid took the win and put the Ford Racing team into the championship round.
Craig Lowndes scored 94-points with his answers, before Michael Guest blitzed through to score the required 200-points with two answers remaining.
All drivers displayed their race helmets, with Jason Bright showing his 'Indy Special' helmet which is painted pink to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation and Breast Cancer Awareness month in October.
"Anytime you beat Holden it's a good feeling," said Jason Bright.
"There was a lot of pressure on all of us, so it was a big thrill to win and raise money as well as awareness for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
"We had plenty of funny moments on and off screen. It was one of the most enjoyable things I've done in a long time."
Samantha Reid not only won the sudden-death round, she also provided key answers in winning the first two rounds.
"I was very nervous before the show," said Reid.
"The guys from Bert's Family Feud as well as my Ford Racing team-mates helped me relax and most importantly enjoy being part of the show.
"We had awesome support from the crowd and winning at the end was like taking the chequered flag.
"It's been a great experience for me, and awesome exposure for my career and Formula Ford."
The $10,000 raised on Bert's Family Feud adds to the $4,000 already raised at Ford V8 Superbreakfast events in Adelaide and Perth this year. The next Ford V8 Superbreakfast will be prior to the Queensland V8 round on Thursday 20 July at Hillstone St Lucia Golf Club in Brisbane. Tickets are priced at $89 (plus booking fee) and can be booked though Ticketmaster 7 at www.ticketmaster.com.au
