Friday 10 September at the Betta Electrical Sandown 500 will be known as Ford Kids Day this year, with young fans getting the opportunity to get close to their Ford Racing heroes and take away lots of great gifts. With over 5000 school children expected to make the journey to the opening practice session of the Betta Electrical Sandown 500, Ford Kids Day is the perfect way to introduce young fans to the exciting world of V8 Supercar racing.
Special Ford show bags will be handed out, as well as balloons, blue fairy floss and the chance to get a poster signed by their favourite Ford V8 Supercar driver.
The showbags include, a colouring-in competition with the major prize being a Sony Playstation II game system. Another exciting competition is coming up with Ford's next winning slogon.
Entry to the circuit for school groups is free of charge. With the increased popularity of V8 Supercar racing, this year's Ford's Kids Day is expected to be the biggest ever.
