Ford Australia Management ChangesFord Australia Management Changes

Ford Australia today announced that Mark Winslow has been appointed Vice President of Marketing & Sales, effective October 1, 2005.

Mark previously held the position of General Manager, Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD), for Ford Australia. Prior to running FCSD, Mark was responsible for Lincoln product marketing in the United States for a period of two years. Immediately before that, he was Regional Manager for Ford Australia's Eastern Region (including Sydney), for almost five years.

"Mark has been instrumental in driving the success of our FCSD operations over the last three years", said Ford Australia President Tom Gorman.

"Mark has a very strong understanding of our dealers and their requirements to achieve improved sales success. His sales experience in the Australian market will be instrumental as we face an increasingly competitive automotive landscape."

Bruce McDonald, the present Vice President of Marketing & Sales, will be taking on the new role of Vice President of FCSD.

Prior to taking up his current appointment in 2000, Bruce had three assignments with Ford Division in Detroit and New York, and also previously ran Ford Australia's Southern Region and vehicle marketing operations.

"Our goal is to further develop our FCSD operations, providing improved parts and service support for our dealers and customers. Bruce's intimate knowledge of our dealers, his strong marketing capability and his proven leadership will strengthen FCSD's capabilities," said Mr. Gorman.

"Over the past five years, Bruce has been a key driver of Ford Australia's success. He has led the marketing and sales teams through the successful launches of the BA Falcon, Territory, the all-new Focus and numerous other products."

"Bruce and Mark are both outstanding marketing, sales and service professionals with proven track records over many years at Ford in Australia and North America. They will bring fresh points of view to their new challenges and will continue to contribute to our overall performance."
