Ford Announces New Manufacturing Direction

Ford Australia will hold a press conference today, Thursday November 20 at 11.30am in Geelong, to announce a new direction in automotive manufacturing.
Media are invited to attend the announcement. Full details will be provided and interviews will be available with Ford Australia President & CEO Marin Burela, Premier of Victoria Hon John Brumby, and the Federal Minister for Innovation, Industry, Science and Research Senator Kim Carr.

Directions to Ford Research & Development Centre (RDC), Geelong
- Travel to Geelong via the Princes Highway
- When on the Melbourne Rd on the outskirts of Geelong turn left into North Shore Rd immediately prior to the main Ford plant (ensure you are in the far left lane)
- The RDC is the new building past the main Ford manufacturing plant. Enter the RDC site via the last gate before the railway line (see RDC location represented by Ford logo below).
- Drive into the car park and visitor spots are located at the bottom of the west ramp directly in front of the building.
- Foyer is to the west of the visitors' car parking spaces.
