Graeme joined Ford in 1989 as a Graduate Trainee in the Marketing & Sales department and has held numerous positions throughout the company since that time.
"The experience Graeme has gained throughout his 14 year career with Ford will effectively equip him for this role," says Vice President of Marketing & Sales, Mr Bruce McDonald.
"He has knowledge of almost every area of marketing and business strategy and is well placed to apply this expertise to the position of General Marketing Manager."
Positions in regional sales, including the role of Dealer Operations Manager, were followed by time as a Fleet Marketing Manager and then a two-year assignment as Business Strategy Manager for Ford Asia Pacific Strategy and China Affairs. Most recently Graeme returned to Ford Australia's Marketing & Sales department in the role of SUV & Commercial Vehicle Marketing Manager.
"With our increased sales over the past nine months, thanks to the launch of BA Falcon, Falcon Ute, and Focus, and with the new Ford Territory coming next year, it's a very exciting time to be given responsibility for marketing our brand," says Graeme.
"We have achieved a lot over the last year but there are still challenges ahead and I'm looking forward to working with the rest of the marketing and sales team to ensure we take advantage of every opportunity."
