Ford's Birthday Celebrations Live on Web-Cam

The company that put the world on wheels turns 100 on June 16 and from today, the celebrations will be in full swing.
Australian Ford fans can join the party by logging on to www.ford.com.au and clicking on the Model T icon on the home page.
Apart from the web-cam link to the Henry Ford II Centre in Dearborn, the site offers:
- A link to the Global Centennial site, which features a detailed history of Ford, with rare photos and images
- A chance for Ford fans and employees to contribute their Ford stories to a US Centennial database
- A comprehensive range of on-line merchandise
- A local history of Ford in Australia, complete with a timeline of major events
- Details of the centenary celebration schedule.
The celebrations in Dearborn promise to be spectacular, with massive displays of vintage vehicles and concept cars, plant tours and live performances by Earth, Wind & Fire, Beyoncé Knowles, and country music superstar and devout Ford Truck man, Toby Keith.
Ford Motor Company was incorporated on June 16, 1903, with starting capital of just $USD28,000.
