Falcon the Boss of V8 Supercars

On the back of the success of the award winning BA Falcon, Ford began its ?Falcon Boss of V8 Supercars? campaign on the Monday morning (1 December) after Ambrose took the championship trophy.
The V8 Supercar Championship trophy has been added to a cabinet that already boasts the Wheels Car of the Year 2002 and two consecutive Australia?s Best Family Car awards for the BA Falcon.
Ambrose and his Stone Brothers Racing team took an incredible 6 wins from 13 rounds of the V8 Supercar Championship Series. Teammate Russell Ingall (Caltex Havoline Racing) won twice and Craig Lowndes (CAT Ford Performance Racing) scored the BA Falcon?s first victory in the second round of the championship.
The nine victories gave Ford its best ever debut season in Australian Touring Car Racing for a Falcon model.
Ambrose?s championship was the first for the Blue Oval since 1997 and it was the first time since 1995 that Ford had scored more wins in a season than Holden.
