Ford’s Forte gets a ramp up next month with the new Falcon SR – bringing sportiness and style, along with a long list of extras, to the entry model Falcon.

“We’re building our image across the entire vehicle range and the Falcon SR will add extra style and value to the Forte,” says Passenger Car Marketing Manager, Stephen Kruk.

“Forte has always been a class-leader by offering customers the best value for their money. With the new Falcon SR, we’re enhancing the car’s exterior with sportier looks and a list of extras they will find extremely appealing.”

The exterior of the Falcon is enhanced with a rear single wing spoiler, sporty side skirts, body coloured mirrors, body coloured side protection mouldings and a body coloured grille. A chrome exhaust tip, 16” alloy wheels and SR decals complete the exterior look.

The interior of the vehicle incorporates “S” trim fabric in warm charcoal, while ABS brakes are added to the mechanical package.

Falcon SR is available in a range of colours, including Silhouette, Organza, Narooma Blue, Liquid Silver, Monsoon Blue, Meteorite, Congo Green, Barossa Red, Winter White, and Venom.

Options available with the Falcon SR include a 5.0 litre V8 engine, sports suspension, IRS, cruise control, power windows (front and rear), Dedicated LPG, Dual Fuel LPG, sunroof, and tow pack.

Falcon SR will be available at Ford dealerships from April until the end of July, 2001.<
