Richards took victory in race two of three at the recent GMC 400 in Canberra, while Seton has won twice in the West in 1987 and 1995.
Richards is currently placed sixth in the championship chase, while Seton is just spots further back.
Victory for either driver is sure to see them climb the championship ladder.
“Getting that race win in Canberra was a major boost for the entire team,” said Richards.
“With the competition so close, you need to take every advantage - our team has continued to improve at every event and our first round win is very much the goal at Barbagallo.
“The track itself is a combination of some twisty stuff, as well as a very long straight - I’m sure we can get the right balance of speed and handling to be successful in Perth.
As well as two victories at Barbagallo, Glenn Seton has also picked up four second place finishes.
“I have had quite a bit of success in the West, this year I’m very much keen to add to that record,” said Seton.
“Although our most recent form at Barbagallo has not been that good, my car this year has been very strong.
“We are very close to gaining that much needed round win, and along with Steve and the entire 16-man crew, I’m confident the job can be done in WA.
Barbagallo will feature three sprint races of 20-laps,as well as a top-10 shootout to determine the first five rows of the grid. There will be no compulsory tyre pit stops due to the smaller pit lane in Perth.
