The winner of an easy to enter Ford promotion has been found ? now Esad Zilic has the tricky task of choosing what model Ford, up to the value of $60,000, he wants to make his own.

“I’m just gob-smacked to have won the competition as I’ve never won anything before, not even a raffle” said Mr Zilic from Victoria.

“All I had to do was write my name on an entry form and drop it in the ‘Win a Ford’ box at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show. I’m absolutely thrilled as my old car has just been in a crash, and it was my 60th birthday the other day. It’s unbelievable!”

The Ford competition featured at almost 20 different lifestyle shows and expos over the past six months, ranging from events as diverse as holiday and travel shows, flower and gardening shows, a coffee festival, through to boat shows and parenting expos.

“These events are great opportunities for us to talk with a new audience and let them know about our wide and varied model range,” said Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Mark Winslow.

“Ford offers a vehicle for almost every lifestyle need, be it driving a spacious European designed Fiesta or Focus, heading off road in an Escape, transporting as many as seven people in peace of mind safety in a Territory to towing a boat with a Falcon.”

Mr Zilic now has the enviable but difficult task of deciding which Ford vehicle* he is going to choose.

“I didn’t give the competition too much thought after I’d entered, but now I’ve won I’ll have to seriously consider my options,” said Mr Zilic.

“My son owns a Territory, and I’m pretty keen on one as well. I’m also interested in something with LPG, so will be having a look at the Falcon range.”

Mr Zilic’s decision will be no easy assignment ? there are more than 56 Ford passenger and light commercial vehicles under $60,000 that he is able to choose from.
