ED XR6 Capable of smoking SS's

*To Colcam. Message: Mate ive got an ED XR6 1993 model its a white sedan 4 speed auto. Stock as a rock so i was told when bought it. Yet ive managed to beat the living shit out of SS v8s and even taken down a persuit ute. Have i got a fluke car? or is that kinda normal for one.
Just wondering if anyone has any stats as to what the 0-400 meter times and 0-100kph times are for them. If different to the EB.
Also wondering if they are supposed to be capable of smoking SSs

_Thanks Tim for your inquiry, Mate any Ford can smoke SS’s! But seriously you didn’t say what year SS. The EB11 XR6 when released by Tickford blew away the media and many V8 ‘s. April 21st 1993 at Eastern Creek Raceway a drive day where manufacturers assembled their latest models and invited fleet managers to drive them. There were two special guest acts, an Audi S2 coupe, a turbo quattro AWD supercar and a XR6 Group E Production car. Only one of them stole the show on the day and that was the XR6. They did have V8 beating performance and if you got one with an engine built on a Wednesday as the saying goes well good luck to you.
