Jacques A. Nasser, Executive Vice President, President – Ford Automotive Operations, Chairman – Ford of Europe.
Born December 12, 1947. Received degree in Business Studies from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (awarded honorary doctorate in March, 1997).
Joined Ford Australia in 1968 as a financial analyst and held a number of positions with Ford’s international and U.S. operations, including assignments in Asia-Pacific and Latin America. In 1987 was named Director – Vice President Finance & Administration for Autolatina, the holding company which oversees Ford and Volkswagen operations in Brazil and Argentina.
Named President of Ford Australia in 1990. Elected a company Vice President and named Chairman of Ford of Europe on January 1, 1993. Became Group Vice President – Product Development, Ford Automotive Operations on May 1, 1994.
Took up his present position on November 1, 1996.
