Aussie Falcon the Choice of Jordan at Grand Prix

The acid rush coloured sedans were requested by Team Principal Eddie Jordan after first sampling the car at last year?s Australian Formula One Grand Prix.
?I love going to Australia each year,? said Jordan.
?I really like the range of Falcon models and it?s fantastic to see Ford?s enthusiasm for its racing activities in Australia.
?I loved the XR6 Turbos we?ve had over the last two years and I?d asked very nicely if they would consider the same again next year, but perhaps in Jordan yellow!?
Eddie Jordan is one of the most colourful personalities in Grand Prix racing and it seems appropriate that he ask for a bright yellow coloured Falcon XR6 turbo.
The XR6 Turbos have again been popular for team members, with drivers Nick Heidfeld and Giorgio Pantano also getting behind the wheel.
Ford is the engine supplier to Jordan and together they scored a memorable win in Brazil last year in just the second race of their partnership.
