Unveiled at the 2004 Melbourne International Motor Show this morning, the Courier XLT Hurricane adds $5250* worth of genuine Ford accessories for no extra cost.
The Courier Hurricane will be available only in XLT Super Cab and Crew Cab configurations, in a choice of two colours ? Amber Metallic and Twilight Blue.
The Hurricane limited edition includes air-conditioning, bull bar, unique 15-inch alloy wheels, snorkel, leather steering wheel and gear knobs, stainless steel scuff plates, side steps and a polyethylene bedliner complete with sports bar.
"With the addition of the Hurricane, Courier XLT now represents outstanding value for money and a vehicle that offers buyers the opportunity to stand out from the crowd," Ford Australia President Geoff Polites said.
Courier Hurricane comes complete with styling based off the legendary F-Series, the innovative Rear Access System on the Super Cab version and a willing 2.5-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine that delivers stump-pulling torque levels at low revs for a tough, user-friendly truck.
Only 200 Courier Hurricanes will be built with a recommended retail price of $42,560^ for the XLT Super Cab and $42,860^ for the XLT Crew Cab.
